About
Hi there!
I received my B.A. in Design and Printmaking from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN. In May 2024, I completed my M.F.A. in Visual Communication Design at Purdue University, where I confirmed my passion for creating designs that aid neurodivergent audiences and embrace a multi-sensory design approach. My design process framework, which I developed for my thesis, includes:
Design to Enhance: Focuses on applying visual principles to create clear hierarchies and engage both subconscious and conscious perception for effective communication.
Design to Educate: Aims to provide informative content and resources to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote inclusivity for individuals with sensory sensitivities.
Design to Experience: Centers on creating immersive and emotionally resonant user experiences through thoughtful sensory elements and interactivity.
Design to Evolve: Involves continually refining design practices through dialogue, collaboration, and a focus on multi-sensory engagement to meet evolving audience needs.
